About Us
The High Sierra Swing Dance Club is a non-profit organization located in Carson City, Nevada, offering fun and entertaining partner dance instruction and events to the Northern Nevada Community. Jim and Donna Ewing formed the dance club in 2007 after they realized a need for quality dance instruction and activities in the area. The club is managed by a board of 10+ members and has over 60 active members and numerous non-members that particiapte. We focus mainly on West Coast Swing instruction but offer numerous other dance-style lessons to increase our participants knowledge. Our dance instructors are all talented, entertaining and patient individuals and contribute to a comfortable and fun environment.Club activities include:

We welcome all interested and enthusiastic persons of any age, experience level, or walk of life. Singles are also welcome because we rotate and share all partners so everybody gets to learn. Beginning dancers are especially encouraged to participate. Afterall....everyone was once a beginner. All we ask is that you be prepared to have a great time and meet wonderful people.
